Dora just "groomed" my finger

She was very very lightly quickly nibbling it up and down as if I had fur on it

I told her that she was silly, but it was a nice gesture I suppose!

Both girls are so talkative too--they often make that barely audible excited squeaking-whistling sound when they explore or busy with some activity. Dora is in love with her huge pile of bedding in her sleeping corner. I just added even more paper "flakes" there, as carefresh tends to settle with time. She's in digging heaven

I'd love to have that sort of a connection with a robo..

you lucky thing ^.^ My two boy hybrids lick my hands but I think that's more because they think I am food..

I would call my connection tenuous at best, but I persevere. I'm just happy with what I get, because it's been many months of ownership, and every bit of progress feels like a victory! Neither is so tame as to pancake on my hand and let me do whatever I want, but Dora at least consistently interacts with my hand when I put it into her cage (sniffing, tasting, walking onto it).

It really does go to show it was the right thing to separate the girls in the end, they're obviously really well settled and relaxed as taming only tends to move forward when they are.

Only one problem though, there haven't been nearly enough pics of them recently!!!!

I know! I should take more pictures again. I had my camera at my old place, but it's here with me now. I will be more diligent from now on

The girls are well settled now, I think. Dora really enjoys being the Lone Ham. Leela seems to be doing alright too.

I wash my hands so much =/ There's always something to clean or paint or whatever else with our month-long move to our new place. Chances are, my hands are very clean (I even use fragrance/soap free cleaner so my skin doesn't come off from all the washing...)
