Re: New to robo hammy.
I have two robos in a three level perfecto tank, they don't fight over the levels but do have the occassional batting session and a quick chase but as the tank is quite large with lots of escape routes the other one can go nto another level etc to break it up.
I have two wheels, but they share the food bowl really well and take it in turns for the sand bowl, as it is on a different level, but if your cage is on one level I would recommend two of everything.
If blood is drawn and their fights look violent you will need to seperate

Re: New to robo hammy.
Unless their sense of smell is somehow affected, they should find scattered food just fine. They are tiny though, so they don't need much food. You might just not notice them eating it.
My pair got along really well for 6 months, and I just now had to separate them =/ I did all those things Pompompoms suggested, which I think helped them stay together for that long. I'm still not sure why they stopped being friends, but it could be a hormonal periodic thing.

Re: New to robo hammy.
Thank you all for responding, I shall see what else happens next. =/ I think I am a very worried mother of the two hamsters. I am not sure if I am breaking the rules, but please Imol and Lil' Wayne | Facebook follow this page, as I have a lot of question to ask =/ or add my msn, I feel that I am going to need a lot of help on my confusing little babies. Nooooo, then the two sections turn into 'home territory' for one hamster or another and they end up fighting. We made the mistake of linking two cages to make a bigger space, and ended up having to separate our two girls permanently.
