Wheel sizes
I'm looking at silent spinners (one per robo), and have read that both the 4.5" and 6.5" are okay - I was wondering which was 'correct', or most recommended.
Thanks!

Re: Wheel sizes
I'd go for the 6.5", I've heard of hams becoming too big for the smaller size.

Re: Wheel sizes
The 4.5 i find is too small for most robo's
while the 6.5 a lot can't spin
So the 5.5 is like the perfect middle :P
but its all up to you

Re: Wheel sizes
I'd got for the 6.5 or the 5.5 as gizmodo recommended, I defiantly wouldn't go smaller!

Re: Wheel sizes
My robos are fully grown and still don't do very well with 6.5" silent spinner I have in a play pen (fly off it a lot). If it were a slower wheel, they would be fine. They currently use 5.5" wheels, which are plenty big for both of them to be on one if they wish, and it saves cage space too. This is a 5.5" wheel vs. adult hamster:

Re: Wheel sizes
go for the 5.5 or 6.5. I ony use a 4.5 for developing pups to get them used to a wheel.

Re: Wheel sizes
Follow up...do people use flying saucers for robos? And which size do they use? I was considering a mix of 5.5" fake silent spinner and a saucer - thoughts?

Re: Wheel sizes
Both of my robos did fine with the 6.5" silent spinner.
