Re: Meet bubbles
Congrats on getting Bubbles, she looks lovely.
It might just be me but I can't see the photo of her cage, could you post one on the forum? If you're not sure how to do that there's a thread here that explains how.
Dwarf hams do need a specific dwarf diet which is almost impossible to find here in the UK, what are you feeding her at the moment? One important thing to know about Russian hams is that they are prone to diabetes so take care with her diet & avoid any sweet treats, things with any kind of sugar including honey & fruits.
You'll find lots of tips on caring for her if you browse around the forum & without seeing her cage it's hard to know what tips you might need but if you have any questions just ask away.

I can see the pictures, would you like me to add them to the forum for you so all can see?
Bubbles looks like a lil cutie. Good start to the bin cage. How deep is the substrate? Hamsters love burrowing so try making one end of the bin deeper than the other. If you want a cheap hide, reuse a jar (cleaned obviously) and partially submerge it in the substrate. You could put some of the substrate in or a bit of sand for digging and rolling around in. I'll see if I can find pics of my bin when my robo was in it to inspire you

Re: Meet bubbles
Bubbles is a cutie! I'd buy a long bendy bridge. You can take the hooks out, bend it into the required shape and place it in the bin cage so Bubbles can run over it and sit under it. My hamsters love those. Amazon sells it or pets at home can order. A sandbath is a must for a dwarf. They like to roll about in it. I use the Tiny Friends bathing sand from pets at home. A Whimzee dog chew and a millet spray from the bird section would be appreciated by your hamster. One of mine likes to sit in a ceramic oil burner from the pound shop but best chose one that's smooth inside. I put seeds on the top and he pulls himself up to get to them.

Re: Meet bubbles
Here is a picture of her bin cage her bedding is not that deep but i can add more and i shall also put her sandbath in her home as i usually just use it when she is out. Also should the sandbath be quite deep?

Re: Meet bubbles
I am feeding bubbles hamster pets at home hamster muesli with a few meal worms a week along with a few varieties of seeds mixed in as she loves them. Also a lot of fresh vegetables but not fruit.
