I have a problem the only available bins are:

71cmx55cm height 13cm

another

60x44cm height 44cm

what do I do?

that was a storage plastic store, its the best bet for variety.

which one would be better?

Neither are any good but especially not the 13cm high one. Can you get a bin or cage online? Pretty sure I’ve seen people in South Africa get cages online but can’t remember. Or are there fish tanks available?

I agree that neither of those bins are going to be suitable, the size of the first one is ok except the height, you are going to need enough height for an 8"/20cm wheel plus substrate so if you want to use a bin have a look for something that will allow for that.

There's a thread here looking at cages in South Africa that may help if you want to look for a cage rather than a bin.
Cage reccomendations

There's another thread here about making a bin cage, unfortunately the photos are no longer there but it will give you a basic idea of how it's done.

He’s such a cutie!!

Whats the measurements for the Ovo? If its significantly smaller than the 60cm bin then I’d upgrade him to the bin until you can get a larger cage. For a Russian dwarf you’ll want a minimum cage size of 70x40cm but bigger is always better!

I also recommend replacing the Ovo water bottle with a normal water bottle or bowl (you’ll need to make a platform for a bowl though) because the Ovo bottles force them to drink in a very unnatural and uncomfortable position

Thanks for the response guys. The ovo is 65x23cm. I think I will upgrade to the bin in for now. Having trouble finding him or cage that large. Just coming across rabbit /Guinea pig cages that size. Will try to attach the ovo to the bin. Will get a new water bottle , I'm guessing the ball valve one is fine
