Hamster biting advice
Hey guys,
I understand that hamsters can bite due to the smell on your hands. Therefore, I would like to know if henna tattoos are okay for hamsters and if they are likely to bite my hands with the designs stained onto my hands. There are different types of these tattoos, but the ones I get done have a smell as they come from the henna plant. Is my hamster likely to bite with these smells on my hands? If so what should I do so that I can still play with my hamster?
Thx

Re: Hamster biting advice
I wouldn't think it would cause and issue. I'd wash my hands with plain soap though before handling and take care when you first handle to see how your hammie reacts.

Re: Hamster biting advice
Ive found that rubbing your hands in there bathing sand is a good way of getting all smell of your hands or rubbing them in his bedding so it smells like them.
