Hey! First time Dwarf mommy...

She looks sweet. Hope she settles in well. A few treat ideas for her are: pumpkin seeds, flax seeds and linseed. I get mine from the super market.

My dwarfs hamsters like some of the dried flower treats from p@h and also the millet and daria mixed packs (I am looking to find somewhere I can get the daria on it’s own).

Your little one is very cute!

I'm normally wary of bitey hams too, but have found thaf if I use a toilet roll tube to get them out (they walk into the tube, which I then move to wherever I want to take the hamster) they generally don't give me any trouble while I get them used to being handled. I don't know if that iswhat you are doing already but if not it might be worth a try.

I gave her some carrot yesterday which she refused to take from me but took it when I left it, came last night and it was still there,
I haven't got her out yet as she's not doing a lot in her cage, I will be getting some more things for her to do later,

If I need to get her out and shes not 'hand friendly' yet I can put a ball in the cage as the opening is big enough on the top, that's what I had to do with my last Syrian as she was very aggressive but she loved going in the ball funny little Moody creatures!!

Try holding a piece of broccoli for her, they usually find that hard to resist & it's easier to hold if you're nervous about a nip!
go easy with the sweet veg like carrot, peas & corn & try to give more in the way of green veg which has less natural sugar.

Oh ok didn't realise carrot would be too sweet... that's what she had when she was at Pets at home which is rather naughty of them!

So... Broccoli has been purchased and so has all natural no sugar treats; dandelion sticks, meal worms, sand and other assortments!
