I adopted Dakota from Pet-Co from a litter that somebody surrendered. She didn't cost anything. She had 3 littermates plus the mom & dad. I didn't see the older ones tho, just the babies. They all had aggressive personalities but I still wanted one, reminded me of Cinnamon Bear a little.

Re: Baby Dakota
Baby Dakota is such a pretty girl. Maybe the entire hamster had bad experiences dealing with humans in the past and that is why they are all aggressive in nature. I do hope that things will change for you and your little one though. Best of luck.

Re: Baby Dakota
She looks so tiny there!
Give her time, I'm sure she's not really aggressive but just needs a little love & understanding, she'll come round.

Re: Baby Dakota
I hope so but if not that's okay. She is just a few weeks old. I'd say 8 weeks?

Re: Baby Dakota
Another sweetie! Wheel exercise time must be impressive if the hamily all go at it at the same time!

Re: Baby Dakota
Thanks all, lol Coco, the two in my bedroom were on their wheels at the same time last night. There are times when they all run at the same time but now I think they run more when I'm sleeping. When I get up to check on them, maybe Maddi is on the wheel as always & the others are sitting around or sleeping

Re: Baby Dakota
Dakota is very sweet . Unusual name as well.
It's nice that she'll have an amazing home now. At 8 weeks, I wouldn't be surprised if she was slightly aggressive, but once tamed, I'm sure she'll be a sweetie.
