My Hamster Developed White Spots On Her Back
(Hi, btw this is my first post on this forum so I have no idea what the fluff I'm doing but here I go...)
So my Russian Dwarf Hamster Luna is coming up to 3 years old now which I guess is coming to the average life span of her breed has started devolving white spots on her back. She is grey on her back and white on her belly (though it has been turning grey lately). Up to about 2 1/3 years into her life I noticed a few white spots on her. I didn't really think much of it then. Over time it has increased and I'm getting quote concerned. She has also strayed slowing down her climbing, not being able to do stunts and climb around as she used to (She at most is only able to go up once, grab a seed then fall down). I'm guessing both are a result of old age but I still want to be certain.

Re: My Hamster Developed White Spots On Her Back
Three is a really good age for a Russian ham, many don't live more than two years so Luna is doing well!
She is obviously showing signs of old age now though, if you haven't already you may need to rearrange her cage so everything is within easy reach & she doesn't need to climb or struggle to get to anything. Just make things easy & comfortable for her.
Russian hybrids often change colour quite a lot with time so the white spots may just be normal colour changes if you mean just her fur & not skin changes.
