Re: Meet Percy
I used it to get him used to me before he came down to uni with me. So he was a little nervous but I think it was his first time running about in something other than his cage! In the end, he enjoyed it and climbed up on me a little bit.

Re: Meet Percy
None of my dwarf hams have been fond of rocket either! They don't generally seem to keen on the stronger herbs & salad leaves, maybe that's more of a syrian taste although it may just be an individual thing.
There aren't really any other health problems specific to hybrids other than the potential for diabetes, the same as others hams generally.
A big empty bath looks a bit intimidating for a tiny dwarf & a bit slippy for furry feet, he might be more comfortable interacting with you in a playpen (metal ham pens are good or even an enclosure made out of cardboard boxes) or you could put a towel on the bottom of the bath either with some little toys or sit in & let him climb on you maybe.

Re: Meet Percy
Thank you for your advice! I'm trying him with some broccoli tonight I'll tell you how it goes!
He has a playpen now! With lots of hidey holes and toys. It was back at my old house, I used the bath, I was given some dodgy advice by a friend who did animal behaviour. She said not to use hidey holes and just force him to get used to me. Obviously, that is not the right approach. I know better now although I still feel guilty for those first few sessions. Despite my mistakes the little guy has forgiven me and our taming i going slow but well.

(Sorry it doent show off the pen very well)
