Re: Koala Bear
Koala Bear has the platinum gene so he is gradually turning from grey to white, he's not even 5 mo yet so he could get real white I'm hoping?

Re: Koala Bear
These next 2 pictures are from the first day I brought him home, he was so small
You can start to see the changes in his fur color from about a month ago

Re: Koala Bear
He does look tiny & very cute in those pics from when you brought him home
It'll be interesting to see how his colour changes with time, I've only ever had hybrid russians but bar one they've all changed colour to some extent.

Re: Koala Bear
Koala Bear & I are bonding real well. He let me pick him up for the first time yesterday, just a little cause I didn't want to scare him, it was fun. He looked staight up at me last week & unknowingly I snapped a camera flash when he looked at me.
Since then he has been hesitant to look up somewhat. But last night he did look up. Guess it's always a learning experience, won't take anymore pictures of his face now that I know the light bothers him.
Hopefully he will forgive me completely? The other hamsters don't seem to be bothered by it but I don't know that for sure? Think I'll put the flash away for now.
Does anybody know if the flash hurts their eyes? Hopefully not? Don't want to frighten them no matter how much fun it is to take pictures?
