Re: Cinnamon Bear
Haven't made up mind for sure yet?
He is drinking the Pedialyte in his water so that is good to help him not be dehydrated.

Re: Cinnamon Bear
I'm afraid of losing four of my hammies around the same time. Chloe and Izzy are over 2 years old. Then Cinnamon and Koala are sick. In the next 3 months or so I'm thinking I'm going to starting losing some. It would be nice if they would live longer but for Chloe to make it to 3 years old would be really unusual being a hybrid. Izzy could make it 3 years of age or longer. But again that would be a long life for a hamster.

Re: Cinnamon Bear
You're doing a really great job with all your hammies, yes, you've had a lot to deal with but you have. You've also given them and still giving them a wonderful life and your love and dedication is felt here on the forum.

Re: Cinnamon Bear
Thank you TLizzy I try my best hopefully my best is good enough? Especially now that they are older. They may have special needs like Koala and Cinn. btw they are both only a year old too young to die if that is what is happening?

Re: Cinnamon Bear
Thanks FF Hopefully he will let corporate know this is happening but they probably already know. That's sad if they are intentionally breeding diabetic hamsters (as they are hereditary) just to make money.

Re: Cinnamon Bear
Diabetes in hamsters is a cruel illness and heart-breaking to watch. You've tried so hard for Cinnamon Bear to give him the best life possible.
Run free, little man

Re: Cinnamon Bear
So sorry to hear about little Cinnamon Bear, as Vectis says it is cruel & sometimes there is little we can do to ease their suffering but you've done your best for your little one, no more suffering now, I hope you can take comfort in that.
Run free & play well at the bridge Cinnamon Bear.
