Introducing Hagrid!
My fiance and I adopted our first hamster yesterday!
This is Hagrid. He, along with his mom, dad, three brothers, and sister, were abandoned in one cage, left on a dumpster in our city. Thankfully someone found them and brought them in to our local animal shelter. I volunteer there and fell in love with them after seeing them in person.
Hagrid seems to be settling in nicely to his new home. He only has three legs because his dad chewed one off, but it doesn't slow him down a bit! His name at the shelter was Maxwell Triwheel, but we decided to change it to something we liked better.  He loves his Sunseed Dwarf Hamster mix, and I'm hoping to get him some cucumber later on today.

Congrats & well done for giving the little guy a loving home after all he's been through, he looks very content there now.

Congratulations on adopting Hagrid, he's beautiful. He's a little tripod.
He's well and truly settled in to his new home, that 2nd pic of him sleeping is the proof, if he was scared he'd be hiding. In that pic he's sleeping out in the open space and having happy dreams.
