Smile Wash hands between holding boy and girl hamster?

Hi again,
Thanks for everyone's help regarding my last post , I now have a boy and a girl Russian dwarf hamster but am not planning on breeding them as the female is a month or so older than the male. Sorry for all my questions I'm just unsure about this and can't find any other advice on the web. I'm wondering if I have play time with my female hamster ( she's very tame so will run all over me for ages , up my arms and on my shoulders and legs ) and then when I put her back and get my male out for play time , should I wash my hands, arms , change clothes etc. so they don't smell each other on me or just let them get used to it ?
Again , sorry if this is a weird one I'm just not wanting to stress them out because my female is very happy and tame and only had my new male a day but he's very tame aswell with me and I don't want that to change !
Thanks guys!
X

To begin with I would wash your hands between, they will still smell each other on your clothes so you should be able to tell from how they react to that what's the best way to go.
They all vary, I have 3 & my little Chinese girl really isn't all that bothered by the smell of the others, my male Russian hybrid is really quite curious & will spend ages sniffing my hands quite happily if I've handles either my Chinese or my female hybrid.
My female hybrid is another matter! She is quite territorial & I only once made the mistake of going straight to her after handling the male, she went to climb out of her cage into my hands as usual then just sank her teeth into my finger & wouldn't let go! Never again lol! She also gets a little anxious if my Chinese has been running around all over me & she can smell it but not to the extent where I'd feel the need to change clothes.
Just take it slowly & see how they respond you may find they'll both be fine.

It's part of my routine with mine, I always wash my hands before handling them, they're use to the handwash I use.
