Default so many cuties...

as I mentioned already in the Winter White Section I doubled my quantity of hamsters and more than quadrupled the quality, thanks to a certain forum member (feel free to come and take a bow)

so I now also have 7 Campbells, and to think that I only had Syrians and Roborovski till yesterday,...

6 are happy together, one is all alone, but she is best that way, after a lot of thinking they have been named though this is subject to change...

The three Argentes are to be called Librarian, Recent Ruins and the Dean. The Dove Mottled is the Bursar, and the Normal is Ridcully. The Black misses out on the trend and is called Nibbler (for very very good reason). The female Black Eyed White, who is all alone, is Mrs Whitlow, as she is the one keeping the men in line

Photographs are sure to follow, just as soon as I drag Dave away from them :P

As I have pictures of them when they where here I'll post them

Some of the Male Campbells colony

Out of view are 2 Argentes

And here is Mrs Whitlow. She suffers from a genetic defect called microapthalmia which basically means one eye is abnormally smaller than the other. She is perfectly fine another than the smaller eye. She arrived on my door step from a garden centre who couldn't sell her her fate had she had have to go back to the breeder would not have been good so I took her in meaning to rehome her and she stayed and stayed untillnooboo said she was looking for Campbells so I took her for her and Dave to have a cuddle of and she stayed too

I take back cute and add bloodthirsty

My first ever proper hamster bite, first blood has been drawn, and all I did was uncover a mineral block, and for my effort got teeth piercing my nail right at the base.. proper spirting blood...

oh well it was bound to happen at some point, though they were all well behaved earlier when they were let out... You go to uncover a mineral block and it's time for pain it seems

Great bin cages did you get those from pj too? Did you go to The Northern Hamster Club show in Sheffield or did pj come to Manchester?

I went to Manchester. The bin cages are nooboo's, she ordered them herself, I could have supplied some but the ones she got are bigger. They look great nooboo... are they settling in ok?

seem to be doing fine - Nibbler is still living up to his name, and one of the Argentes is being a little cage posessive, it is taking a while to know what one to dodge and pick up in the loo roll. Mrs Whitlow is being a star

ohh thats a tough call, i like them for different reasons

my syrians love their cuddles, and are well behaved and nicly chunky, and the babies are just so adorable, thde robos and little angels but so fast, but what spirit they have! the winter whites burry themselves, and thats adorable to watch. and i had a sort of funny story told to me today, i got bin cages for many reasons, cheepness space, and the fact dave couldnt leave anything open tha would lead to an escape. he managed to get around taht by losing the normal ww for an hour when swaping them into their bin home, as he thought they were both in the house bed bit. he would have been in trouble but he found it, and it seems ok and it was a few days back, so had to just laugh

the campbells are so adorable, they are so fluffy and soft, and chubby (though the same can be said about the ww) the argentes are getting bigger than the others, and it turns out that mrs whitlow is as big as ponder!! caused me a shock.

still have to get a couple of pearls then i am done. dont want any chinese hamsters something about them puts me off, same goes with any albino.
