Default Multi-level cages

I've got a cage with multiple levels and will soon be getting a hamster. In the past I've had Syrians, but I was wondering about getting a pair of dwarves.

I'm planning to attach the current cage to a large box to make more space. (The current cage isn't too small, but I've always kept my animals in larger than necessary enclosures).

Would a pair still become territorial with plenty of space? I've notice some people on these forums keep them with a level or in a modular cage. Would this be too risky?

Levels and pairs don't go together as they can become territorial over the levels you need one big floor space at least 75 x 40 with no levels as it is to much of a risk. You will need 2 of everything wheels, toys, houses, water bottles etc. Also houses need 2 exits or more so one can't get cornered in to a house should a fight break out. And instead of a food bowl scatter feed

Levels and modules are both very risky with dwarf hams I'm afraid
