Introducing my awesome hamsters!

thanks! they've suddenly decided to sleep on their wheel together for the time being; no idea why, but it's cute.

Today I came across one of the few remaining non-chain pet stores and found this little agouti Campbell girl on display. She's still very young; I'd say five weeks at the most. She may not have the best markings, but she is very cute and my daughter just loved her. So even though we really don't need another hamster, we brought her home anyway! I took a couple of quick photos before placing her in her quarantine tank. She seems as happy as can be, running on her wheel, building a nest, etc. Still working on a name for her. Wanted to share photos and will post more once she is settled in.

A few more photos of my new girl, Artemis. She is still a baby, but she's becoming quite feisty as she gets used to her new home! She's very active and has begun to nip, so hopefully we can work on that. She is still very easy to handle, but she likes things her way!
