Default Is Plastikote safe?

I have a few wooden items that are being peed and pooed on. I was wondering if Plastikote would be safe for Vanilla and Snowflake. Thanks a lot!

Default Re: Is Plastikote safe?

Providing it's the water based liquid you paint on its fine I'll link it below. It's called plastikote enamel. Not sure why as it isn't enamel really. But not the spray one. It is very thin liquid and you just paint it on - very quick and easy and its virtually odourless. One dry it is odourless. You need two coats really. I leave a day between coats although it does dry in a couple of hours - just to make sure it's hardened properly before the next coat.

After that it is wipe clean. Good stuff. I've used it on our wood wheel as well and the cork surface on the wood wheel. This is the clear one if you like the wood grain but it comes in various colours as well. I just use a normal household paint brush - about a half inch sized one.
