Re: DIY Material Questions
Thank you mangoandmimi and cypher. I'll be sure to buy the right one now!
Didn't know there was much difference between each version so I'll be extra careful when buying a pot with a plastic lid which is the water based enamel version - got it!

Re: DIY Material Questions
Hi again!
Looking into plastikote - the price is a large 'discussion' point between me and my Grandpa. Any recommendations for the cheapest possible place to get the safe plastikote I need? We constantly see the £4 pots on Amazon.
Also, which pot do I need. I'm looking at the water based enamel paint - is that as specific as I need it to be? I've been told to get the plastic lid - but I can't tell the difference online (there's nowhere in person I can get it)
Thanks again for your help - the cage is coming along amazingly!

Re: DIY Material Questions
I think the amazon price is about as good as you'll get online, I think some shops like the range might sell it cheaper but if you need to buy online the price is about the same most places, I do buy mine from Mytoolshed where it's a bit cheaper but then there's delivery costs so it works out about the same unless yo buy several pots.
As long as it's water based that's all you need to look for really.
