Same as Sisal string?
So I have some natural Jute string and I was wondering if its basically the same as sisal string and whether it's safe to use in hamster toys?
Thanks

Re: Same as Sisal string?
I believe the discussion on this before is that it isn't the same (and it seems different to me). Sellers lump the descriptions together as sisal/jute etc but sisal is the one to get. Untreated sisal anyway. It's the only one I've heard is safe to chew. I got a ball on ebay and it didn't cost too much.

Re: Same as Sisal string?
Jute isn't the same as sisal - as they are made from fibres of different plants
Both are regarded as safe as long as it untreated and natural- although I prefer to use untreated sisal - however with all natural string I would recommend removing if your hamster start chewing upon it.
