I will built it soon
I posted in the thread about this already, but true plywood(not solid wood but instead a veneered wood using several pieces of wood that are also glued together, and as a result of the veneers used can emit formaldehyde for example)is not safe.Stick with real wood that's either untreated or kiln dried and of a safe variety, and preferably not from China.

It maybe depends where the birch plywood is from? I know the Germans use it for most of their houses and wheels but they say it's made with non toxic glue.

Huri - The house I used was one I bought, but it is basically - a box - with some holes cut in for doors. Cutting holes would be a bit too much diy for me. The dowels for legs are easily bought in hardware stores and are cheap. I actually used non toxic wood glue to stick those on as it's stronger. If you can find a pet-safe, non toxic wood glue, then the legs would be stronger. I made sure there was no glue residue visible - that way the glue can't be chewed. Once it's dry it's not toxic anyway, but best if none showing.

Someone on here used this as a house (adapted I think). If turned upside down it could make a platform/shelf - although I'd be tempted to cut one of the sides out so it's open underneath. And check the size of the gaps. Is it for a Syrian or dwarf hamster.

If it's true plywood it's not going to be veneer free, which is a huge part of the problem regardless of what glue is used.

At the end of the day the best way to be safe with that would just be using real wood and not taking a chance on something that could contribute to poor health(or even death).

Hmmm or I was wondering maybe I can make the whole platform out of popsicle sticks? I know that shoulda really far fetched but maybe that might be the cheapest..

I personally would suggest looking online or going to a specialty lumber store of some sort.Home Depot and other chain stores sometimes have a small amount of kiln dried wood, but with chain stores you may not have the best options and you might not know where the wood is sourced(including wood that may be from China).

Popsicle sticks could potentially work, but at the same time they'd be a lot more work to seal(using beeswax or another DIY natural wood seal that is hamster safe)compared to a solid piece of wood that's more flat with no gaps in between.Plus, ordering good quality wood(including USA sourced wood)doesn't have to be expensive if you can get it cut to size instead of buying only small pieces!

I think I will do it all with popsicle sticks... un less I have to coat them ( which I think is weird and un nessisary ) or if some one can link me to some good safe wood that's cheap I would appreciate it so much

Sealing wood is extremely important if it may come into contact with liquids(such as urine),so regardless of what is used if you want something to last well you'd want to seal it with a safe natural wood seal(beeswax, which might need reapplying eventually, but it's one of the safest options).Popsicle sticks may not make as many things though, and they'd likely be more work to seal as mentioned so do consider that(plus many popsicle sticks are from China which is at least somewhat risky).

This would be an example, although I'd like to get an extra opinion on the exact type of wood first just to be safe:
