joining cages and tube sizes

I am thinking of joining the original cage we got for Berta to the bin cage.

I am worried that the tubes might be too small as I think they are designed for dwarf hamsters. Can you tell by looking at this pic if they are too small?

I could measure them but don't have a tape measure to hand. Berta can fit through them at the mo, but am wondering if it is worth it if she will grow too big to go through them soon.

Alternatively, I also have another bin cage that I could add but thought the cage might be a bit more interesting as it has another level. I was not planning on leaving all the tubes in because Berta just liked to hide, bed and wee in them lol! I just wanted one or two to connect between the cages.

What do you think?

The tubes are OK for your average pet shop syrian, but there is always a chance she'll outgrow them.

Which do you think would be best to attach, the wired cage or another smaller bin cage?

I think another bin cage but thats just my opinion. =)

i'd say a bin cage. Just cause you know for sure she can go through comfortabley and not get stuck.
Even though she might like the bars to climb and extra levels, you can always just buy like a certain spare cage level and cut holes so it can attach in the bin cage. But if your not particularly good at D.I.Y like me Then i'm sure Berta would still love the extra space of the wire cage attached.
