Default Blue LED's

My son came home with a piece of aluminium guttering. I wanted plastic or ally as they are both light. I cut it down and painted it with Hammerite silver spray. I had bought a strip of blue led's 60cm long.
This is Gingers cage at night with blue led's above it.

I dont know if I like it or not. I think it might grow on me. I still prefer red. I am thinking of putting a red strip and a white strip in and having a 3-way switch so I can choose which light I want on.

Makes the hut on the shelf look kinda spooky and very appropriate for Halloween lol. Will ginger see the blue led's?

I just bought a strip of adjustable LED lights with a remote control on Amazon.

They will do any shade of color as well as blue and red (which are supposed to be outside their visible range). They also have a dimmer.

I've used them before on other critter cages to great effect. They usually come with at least one sticky side, and failing that, a few drops of hot glue will tack them in place.

The strips are customize-able size wise; you can cut off any you're not using.
