Some wooden toys I made

It's time for a spring clean up in my yard, and I'm fortunate enough to have a couple apple trees that needed trimming. I used the branches to make these toys.

I sanitized all the wood by baking it at 230*F (110*C) for two hours. Then I cut it up into the correct sizes. For the bridge/ladder, I drilled holes and threaded old metal hangers through. For the house, I used hot glue. The extra pieces are in preparation for an eventual see saw, I hope Josiah really enjoys the house, and he kind of has to use the bridge because of how the cage is set up-- but I think he likes that too. Many thanks to all the inspiring cage ideas out there!
