If you look a little closer at my pic spacebyte, you will notice perspex sliding doors. Look halfway up towards the edge and you see plastic handles. The doors slide both left and right and also easily pop out. The setup is similar to what you would see for a reptile enclosure.

The small perspex wall behind the doors is mainly to stop the substrate from falling out when you open the doors.
