Default Building another bin cage

Whilst I don't yet have the future occupant for this cage yet, I thought that I'd make the most of the afternoon and get the permanant bin cage ready.

I've got the box as it was two for £20 when I bought May's and my dad is going to help me since I'm not great with DIY. Since May loves her cage so much, we're using hers as a model but I'm debating whether to put a wooden level into both at some point.

Default Re: Building another bin cage

We tried a couple of different things than what we did when we built May's cage and whilst it made it easier to know exactly how much mesh we needed, we tried using a jigsaw as I'd seen people asking about using them and we found that the plastic cracked a lot easier than it did using the soldering iron.

I'll post photos of the set up when it's ready for the new occupant.
