Default Using a dremel to cut SAMLA?

Hi all. After not having much success using a knife on my practice/travel bin cage, I found out that apparently a relative of mine a dremel that we can borrow. Has anyone made a bin cage and used one to cut the holes where the mesh goes, or do you just use a drill and cut in between the drill holes? Thanks.

I don't know about a dremel. We drilled holes in the corners and used a jigsaw to "connect the dots". This worked very well and we didn't end up with any cracks.
