Willow branches to chew?
My Syrian loves to chew things - mainly the plastic platforms in her cage! - and doesn't have much interest with chewing cardboard, so would it be safe to wire willow twigs to her bars? Or does anyone have any DIY ideas for things to chew on?

Re: Willow branches to chew?
I don't think willow is a safe wood to use. If you want branches use those from a fruit tree, which has not been sprayed. Something like apple, pear or cherry. You need to wash it well too.
Ours like to chew a large, hard dog biscuit like a bonio. Some people give cuttlefish bones like budgies have and the seed bars with wood up the middle are liked too.

I have a plum and cherry tree, would they be okay to use? Im getting fed up of him having a boring cage! But i've saved up £40 from left over dinner money. (Yes i am a teenager) So im going to get him some stuff.
