Hamster safe Wood sealant? Where can I buy this in the uk?

Ive virtually finished building our new hamsters big new home theres only a few more jobs to do now yay!

the sanding and then possibly sealing the pine wood so its protected from any wet/urine...I plan to use a nice deep substrate on the base, but the wooden platforms ive built will be hharder to keep covered with a protective layer..I need advice!

Should i leave the wood in its untreated natural state? Or are theyre any sealents can I use that are safe?

If I ever you I would order some plastikote (quite cheap on amazon) to pee-proof it.

I second that! Plastikote all the way. Some wilkinsons sell it too x Brush on dries quicker and is less stinky than spray on x
