Re: Christmas?
Sorry, I'm useless at making Christmas decorations - except for paper chains which you can buy ready to lick and stick. Maybe some of those with little hamsters in santa hats drawn in them?! I think you should wait for someone more creative to reply .........

Re: Christmas?
I got some toilet roll tubes and cut them into four and cut slits in them and then stuck them together with ErinsHamsters 'pet safe glue'(1 part flour,2 parts water) to make a safe Paper chain.

Re: Christmas?
I also cut some tubes in half, then cut it in half again but in a zig zag to make little mini hats like you get in xmas crackers! I just cut the tips of the points as they felt quite sharp.

Re: Christmas?
The paper chains a good idea
If you look at my DIY for the treat box maybe can use this as a "present" box, maybe make them in different colours?

Re: Christmas?
You can get removable stickers to put on a aquarium (on the outside) or around you cage on any shiny surfaces? Or little ornaments or ballballs around the outside of the cage
A more fun activity is a cracker treat dispenser, I saw this idea on the internet, you need a cardboard tube (toilet roll), fill it with treats/food then wrap it with paper and twist the ends and poke them in slightly, so that it looks like a cracker. They can then rip it apart to get the treats out and it looks cute too! The only thing is that many people use wrapping paper for this idea and I don't know if it's bad if eaten because of the ink? But maybe you could use somthing else if it is! Have fun!

Re: Christmas?
Too make Christmas crackers for your hamster, just roll up a toilet paper tube in some plain paper, with some Christmas pictures drawn on if you like, and stuff the tube full of little treats and things and twist the ends closed. Then offer them the cracker to your ham to tear into and enjoy!

Re: Christmas?
the cracker is a good idea, i wouldn't draw on them though and the ink can be poisonous to hamsters
