Default Plastikote Spray

Is this safe to use on hamster stuff: Plasti-kote Super Gloss Spray Clear 400ml | eBay

I always used the normal plastikote that you paint with a brush but i found this the other day when i was looking for glowing green spray paint (not hamster related).

Yeah i know people on here use that with no problems i think the smell is stronger with the spray though compared to the brush on stuff.

No you just need to leave it to dry out fully, stick it outside on a dry day and the smell should soon go

I've wondered about the safety of these large Plastikote spray tins too. I always buy the small spray tins, the quick dry enamel

Plastikote Spray 100ml, Clear at wilko.com

because I know those ones are safe but those large spray tins are different aren't they, I even read the info on the back of one last time I was buying Plastikote but they don't give any safety info so I ended up buying the small tins again just in case.

Its definately the larger spray cans that some people on here use. Maybe a quick email to the manufacturers would clear it up if you're still unsure?

It could be the same thing just put into a smaller tin.

Yes it may very well be, but I don't know that for sure
As the tin packaging is totally different, and it's called something different and there is no safety info printed on the tins I have erred on the side of caution
I've used a lot of the small tins I linked, in all the different colours lol and I know and trust those ones

That's why I commented on your thread, because I have wondered about these large tins too
