Default Savic spelos with bin attached

Hi I bought the Savic spelos for my new robo and realised straight away its too small. I've attached a bin to the side of the cage via a tube so its now twice the size. at a later date I might attach an even bigger bin so I can put more toys etc in but Its ok for now. The bin has a lid with holes for ventilation. x

That looks great. Double the size in an instant. Well done. What pipe have you used to join them. Did you glue it in place ?. I like it. Saves clogging up one cage.

I'm sure the new robo is a lot happier with the extra space, well done

Hi. Thanks. She seems really happy and uses both cages no problem. Ian, I used some pipe that hubby uses for his pond filters. He drilled the hole in the sides so it's a really tight fit and then I've secured it on the outside with some of that silver tape used to join carpet, not sure what it's called. Dont think she will be able to move it as its really tightly fixed (fingers x)

At first, I thought it might have been drain pipe. I know the sort you mean though. Is the tape like duct tape. Strong and waterproof, I have some of that but in black. I used to to make a front for a hedgehog hide and waterproofed it. Good stuff. I am thinking all ways to make an extension cage.
