Default Burlap and paint

Hi hi hi

So this may sound completely crazy but I was wondering if I can use burlap in my Syrians cage. I am trying for new decorations and maybe a chic look.
So please tell me if this would be dangerous

Also anyone know any safe paint for decorating?

I would avoid burlap just because it can be shredded and the fibres could be dangerous, just like fluffy bedding. Also, that sort of stuff is sometimes treated so it could be toxic

As for paint, we could give you name brands but it might be easier if we know what country you're in! In the UK I hear about a product called Plastikote but here in Canada I've used Krylon Indoor/Outdoor with good results.

Plastikote is fantastic if you're in the UK!

I use it with fantastic results and it comes in many colours and finishes! So you can really get personal with your colour scheme.
Cheapest place I've seen it is in The Range

Child safe. Without a doubt

Although I use the spray paint. And it's been fine so far.

Spray is fine, just be sure to do it in a well ventilated area well away from your pets, and wait for it to dry completely before giving them access. Automotive paint is a no, it's definitely toxic.
