Has anyone made any DIY cage from Argos items?

I really want to buy an Ikea Detolf but I'm not paying almost the same price as the cabinet, just to get it delivered!

Luckly I have an Argos near me that sells furniture cheap too! and also has great delivery costs.

I don't really want a plastic bin cage cause, I'm not a masive fan of them.

Just would like to know if anyone has actually made any DIY cage from Argos.

What furniture are you thinking of? A few have tried bookcases (including us) but for various reasons they're rarely used long term. For us the hams preferred smaller and smaller was more practical, for others they tended to be hard to clean and the urine ended up getting into the wood too.

Some argos stuff should work for a DIY cage though - I've seen cages made from old furniture a few times

I'm after something similar the Ikea Detolf, just seen the prices for cabinets.. ouch.
I have no idea now..
