Sisal Rope?

Is sisal rope, like this - NEW SISAL natural rope,6mm,8mm,10mm,Strong, U choose size, cat post scratcher? | eBay OK to use for hammy toys?

Yup, we use sisal string whenever we need string/rope in ham cages

making Sofia a shelf using a KNUFF thing from Ikea. Three sides (well, two so far!) are covered with willow sticks and wanted something easy to work with for the curved edge that wasn't too high either, sisal string (thicker rope stuff) would be perfect. Will order some

Ordered the rope and some Plastikote. So even though I've started making the shelf today it will be a while until it's finished XD Oops!
