Homemade hammy toys!
Post your homemade hamster-pleasers here!!!
Mine is simple:
I just skewer pieces of undyed cardboard with the unused stand for my silent spinner wheel!

Re: Homemade hammy toys!
I made a food stand out of two pieces of wood, drilled some holes in the top glued them together, plastikoted them and then but food in so that it looked like trees. Malcolm has to eat them like they are growing from the ground (the wood is under the sand!)

I made balls of wet paper towels, stuck seeds onto them, covered with a layer of wet paper towel, seeds, layer, seeds, layer, etc., then dried it, and let Phoenix rip it apart!

Re: Homemade hammy toys!
Some of the things that I made for my hamster are:
-scrunched up paper with treats in
- cut up some cardboard and my hammy likes to chew it
- make bridges/shelves out of lolly sticks
- cut up a toilet tube and with the round shape slip the round parts together and put treats inside.
- I also have some plastic baby tethers in her cage and I put treats through the little gaps for her to find.
