How To Make A Hamster Hideout
You will need:
Roomy box
Cardboard tube (toilet/kitchen roll)
Selotape
Scissors
Pen/pencil
White paper
Glue
Decoration- pencil crayons, paints, stickers, foam shapes etc
How To Make It:
1. Cut your cardboard tube to about 5cm more than you want it.
2. Tape up box firmly.
3. Mark where you want your tube to be and cut holes for tube, windows and doors.
4. Push tube into hole and tape firmly in position.
5. Cover part or all of your box with paper and glue in place.
6. Decorate your box with anything you like! Eg: foam shapes, pencil crayons, feathers, magazine cuttings, sequins, ribbons etc.

REMEMBER
This toy is for
supervised use only as your hamster could nibble at parts if not watched carefully.
If you want to make your hideout suitable for unsupervised use, or use in the cage, do not use any decoaration or plastic, and only use materials suitable for hamsters (paper/card without ink).
