Emergency zoozone 2 roof solution!!??
Hi everyone,
I really need a quick and easy temporary fix for a zoozone 2 lid.
I need to make sure that a syrian can not escape the cage!!
Anyone any ideas??
I am planning to mesh the cage soon but for the next few days we need a temporary solution.
Thanks!!

Do you have the mesh? If so just lay it over the top and weight down with a bunch of books or something leaving gaps for ventilation of course (these only need to be a few inches wide for a few days)

thin layer of substrate and no toys to climb up on and then perhaps put the cage in the bath so if the hamster does get out they can't go far?
Souffle's idea is better though if you actually have the mesh

Cover what you can and weight down. The rest you can use some plastic files and weight them down too so that the hammy can't climb on the bars.
