I'm wanting to add a shelf to Aines aquarium, and possibly one to the spare bin cage I keep. I was wondering if anyone who'd made shelves for their cages could give me some tips

For bins and barred homes I like these and for aquariums I've heard people suggest corner suction-supped shelves like people use in their showers, as long as Aine is not a plastic-chewer.

Well, she's never chewed her plastic igloo house, so I would assume not And as it turns out, the bin cage got broken in storage. So that sucks :/

I was thinking I would build the shelf for the aquarium.. I just don't know how lol. I'm working on a plan

I have heard of people using a wooden tray like from a craft store, and then sturdy wooden dowels as legs... but I guess that's more of a platform than a shelf.

I bet this coming back to the top will get some tank DIYers chiming in.

What kind of wood is safe for hamsters because my dad want to make a shelf for me but is asking what wood to use, so what woods can I use??xxx
