I didn't think of cutting the side out. I'll look around and see if we have anything that will cut it. Thanks for the idea.

You could put a hole in it like the 2nd one I made

I do want to make one of the holes bigger so she can go through that way, like you did. But what I really want is to take off the side of the Knuff that becomes the base/bottom of the platform out, it'll be easier to clean and to get her out with it gone. If I have the right tool, I'll cut as much of it out as I can.

I love looking at all these idea from Ikea stuff! I cannot wait for the one near me to be built in a couple of years time! Until then, I'll just have to order online!

Thats cool. You could try using a bit of masking tape to hold bits in place while the glue is drying

Of course, just custom make it to your hams needs and personality. I have made all sorts of different ones for all sorts of hamsters now
