Default DIY IKEA Billy Hack help needed!!

I am planning on building an IKEA Billy Extension cage in March for my dwarf Smudge. I was wondering if there is anyone who has built one who could give me the measurements/dimensions for the pieces of wood used to make the lid.

Also, I'd love to use a U track on the bottom and slides to help hold in the glass...anyone know where I can get it small enough in the US (too big at Lowes & Home Depot)??

Thanks in advance for the help

You can get the sliding door tracks on Amazon here. These tracks come highly recommended for custom vivarium/terrariums on reptile forums and will work great. I bought 4 of these awhile ago in preparation for my own Ikea hack and they're very easy to cut to size or spray paint to the color you prefer.

Hamtastic made one and posted instructions but I now can't find the thread. Might be worth PMing her...
