Default Popsicle sticks

I recently bought a pack of popsicle sticks, but the box doesn't say non toxic. And they were made in china.

I'm not sure if this is one of those things where they're always non-toxic, since kids so often make stuff with popsicle sticks, or if I should not use these. What do you guys think?

Make little houses and ladders and other such stuff for my mice/hammy. It's hard to explain lol, maybe someone else would do a better job.

And I agree Kaz, I don't think it's very safe either. On the bright side I can use them for actual crafts now
