Default empty iphone box safe?

I found two empty iphone4 boxes, would they be safe to use as a cave in cage. I was going to cut holes in them for my dwarf hamster. But I want to make sure they will be safe if the hamster chews them.

Thanks,

Most of us use empty cardboard boxes perfectly safely, Skip has an empty flying saucer box in his cage at the moment.
I think it would be ok.

I'd be inclined to scrape off the shiney iPhone and Apple logos from the outside of the box first in case it gets eaten.
