Re: Hamster room
Does it have heating in there? I have a walk in cupboard with a window that big also but it gets very cold so is unsuitable for me to put any hammies in.

Re: Hamster room
Sounds good, I had all my hamsters in my craft room when I first moved house - but I'm too attached to them being in my room now.
It's good for more hamsters though

Re: Hamster room
Iv always had my hams in my room, at one point all 7 of them. I bought one of those thick black plastic shelving units from B&Q to stack the cages on. Iv got 2 hams now and they take up one wall, but the shelving unit is in the shed and it is being used! I need to get another one methinks.

Re: Hamster room
We had the garage converted to a sitting room for my son. When he left home I put a desk in there for my PC. Cupboards enough for each hammie's belongings and cages on the top. There's a nice warm heater in there and a spare one if it gets very cold. They have a couple of teddies a cacti and pictures on the walls.
