Fab home for Teddy!!! I love the name Teddy for hams. I've always wanted a ham called Kuma. Thinking about it Shisui could have been a Kuma...Anyways, I'm rambling.

What a pretty little sable Teddy is. He does indeed look like a boy from all that puffyness of his skirt. It's an awesome improvement!!!

Also...House of Wheatley welcomes you to the forums.

Great job! That really is impressive and such an improvement on what Teddy was in before.

Makes me wish I was good at DIY, I wouldn't mind one like that for myself

That is an amazing cage. Teddy is one lucky ham, mine are all jealous!

As Teddy is a syrian that 6.5" wheel is a little too small for him. Either an 8" if he's small or an 11" wheel if he's big would be great.
My syrians have 11" wheels.

If you're looking for natural stuff this site is amazing

thanks guys, appreciate the comments. This thing is really becoming a source of pride for me and my son. I can't wait to get it finished. Right now the wood is sealed with clear plastikote so no urine soaks in. Here's a few more pics of the little guy.

i would be concerned with using wood tho because when the hamster pee's it will soak in to the wood. have you put something like clear plastikote on the wood to protect it?
But anyway i love this so much , if only i had the room to make 3 cages like this
I'm fortunate that I have the room for the new enclosure. I also have a 3 year old son who really loves Teddy also and has been bugging me to get him a hamster too...thinking about another complex with a couple of those little dwarfs for him to enjoy.
