You can buy red led strips on ebay for <£5. They are in the fish section. I have some red left over from when I redecorated my aquarium. I was thinking about asking if red was ok for hamsters. I will set them up tonight.

Photos to follow.

I just have a red LED light that sits on top and held in place with tape. I want to get some lights that can actually clip on and dont look so ghetto. But the light I have works wonderfully. It lights it up enough so I can see her but not so much that it keeps me awake at night.

I can't have much lights in my room. They would keep me awake. I can tolerate noise but not light. But your cage does look nice.
