Hamster drawing
Haven't posted anything creative for such a long time now, having a bit of a break from needle felting (for those of you that remember!) & started doing a bit of digital artwork for the first time in years.
Just finished my first hamster drawing, my beautiful boy Zeki, so I thought I'd share it here.

Re: Hamster drawing
Thank you all so much
Definitely not a photo lol! I spent a whole day (including coffee breaks of course) just drawing fur!
BethandLil I’m using Procreate & apple pencil on my iPad, I used to use Painter & wacom tablet but my computer is well into it’s retirement years so I thought I’d give this a go & really like it.

Re: Hamster drawing
Fabulous! The attention to detail on the fur really paid off
Do you have an arts background?

Re: Hamster drawing
Wow, cypher! Yes I remember the needle felting well! But this is something else. Like the others I thought it was a photo until I realised that it was the only post and nothing else.
A labour of love for precious Zeki

Re: Hamster drawing
Thank you Coco, it was a labour of love
Thanks BethandLil, yes I do, I have a degree in fine art though that was long before digital was even dreamt of & I used to paint in oils!
