Coco, I have not heard that phrase " motor drive" for a very long time, back in the days of film I had one on my Canon A1 which would shoot at 2.5fps. My DSLR (Canon EOS 7D) that I shot the barn owl flight shots can shoot 8fps (frames per second). I will post some shots of a Bald Eagle in flight soon which where shot just on a 50mm f1.4 prime lens.

Re: Rad's Photography
Coco, as promised, and everyone else, here are some inflight shots of an American Bald Eagle. Again this was shot in August with my Canon 7D and 50mm f1.4 prime lens.

Re: Rad's Photography
Really like the sense of movement in the first owl shot, I think maybe the DOF works better in the second one.
The eagle is stunning!
Love the detail of the face in the face & again a great sense of movement in the next two.

Re: Rad's Photography
Wow Rads, those are fabulous shots of the bald eagle.
It was my H who used the words 'motor drive'. When we met, over 30 years ago now, each of us had a Canon A1 but he had the motor drive! He worked in illustrated non fiction books for a time, so with professional photographers. He always enjoys your posts on this thread.

Re: Rad's Photography
To coin a phrase " And now for something completely different"
This is the " Union of South Africa" an A4 Pacific Locomotive, which visited the local Nene Valley Railway preservation line.
I have tried to give it an old fashioned film look what do you think?
