Re: Rad's Photography
What a magnificent new lense you have there, Rads! The photo of Toshack is amazing; I so love Alsatians. (In the U.S., they are still referred to as German Shepherds.) I grew up with many of them and have the fondest memories of this endearing and loyal breed. I also am thoroughly impressed with your squirrel closeup and your latest landscape photo. Were the latter two taken with you newest lens, also?

Re: Rad's Photography
BP & Dreamtree
Thank you for your kind comments, Dreamtree the new lens is awesome but at the equivalent of $2,000 it should be.. It has taken me quite a long time to save up for it.!
Toshack is a lovely dog with the most favourable temperament, the name is from an old Liverpool Soccer player my neighbour is an avid fan, over here Alsatians are also called German Shepherds too.
The Squirrel and the Nuthatch where both shot with the 100-400mm f4-5.6Lis and the landscape was shot with my 24-105 f4Lis and little bit of post production work with Photoshop.

Re: Rad's Photography
Thanks for sharing, Rads! Wow, $2,000 - what an investment! Great that you were able to get it; it certainly does create magnificent pics with your extra talented eye, of course!

Re: Rad's Photography
WOW! Those pics are amazing Rads!
I do love alsatians, the squirrel pics are fab, I do like them, that one has grey and red in its colouring, never seen that before.
As much as I like squirrels, they can cause destruction if they get into your house, it didn't happen to me but a neighbour and it ripped the bedding and curtains, they didn't realise they could climb up the back of the building to the top floor. Love the kingfisher pics so much detail and so pretty.
You & Cypher are so brilliant at taking pics.

Re: Rad's Photography
Wow, what amazing photos of such a gorgeous place! I'm so happy that you are able to experience so much beauty. You sure excellently capture its grandeur through your artistic eye and jaw-dropping photography. I love absolutely all of them, but I have to say my most favorite is the first one. The perspective that it was shot at is truly dramatic, and it is made even more impressive and striking since it is taken in black and white. I have always dreamed to travel abroad to Europe so thanks for sharing this with all of us. Have a marvelous time in Paris with Mrs. R.

Re: Rad's Photography
Beautiful, the B&W make them look so dramatic I think my parents may have visited that chateau, it looks very familiar anyway

Re: Rad's Photography
Here are a few more from our Travels this time we went to a small and very Beautiful town of, St Germain-en-Laye it is what we all guess an archetypal French town should look like and it doesn't disappoint........
Colourful Buildings....
Even the French have Homeless People.........
It may not be to everyone's liking, but they are quite strong images well I think they are....
