Wow, those photos are gorgeous!! I think the robin is male - someone told me females don't have as much red on them?! The sunset is awesome!!

Hi Lizzy-Rads is being a touch unfair!! Because my son lived and worked in York for a few years, I happen to know that Mallard is in the Railway Museum there. She broke the world record for a steam engine in 1938 and it still stands. Sadly for you The Flying Scotsman was not as fast! Mallard retired in about 1963 I think so it is visits only for the enthusiast.

I wasn't being mean I do apologise if that was interpreted.
I would love to have been on a train pulled by Mallard.
Mallard is actually an A4 Pacific locomotive designed by Sir Nigel Gresley, she actually made her record breaking run from Peterborough to Grantham on the North East Main Line in I think 1938, she has never been beaten at 126mph for a steam locomotive..
I know there is the other one "The Flying Scotsman" but A4 Pacifics look so cool I have loved them since being a kid...
